The aviation industry is showing clear signs of recovery from the recession with a flurry of sales at the recent Farnborough International Air Show in Hampshire. The International Air Transport Association has forecast that the global aviation sector will return to a $2.5bn profit this year after suffering losses of $9.4bn as the recession buffeted the industry in 2009.

Aviation consultancy services are already showing signs of significant growth as companies have sought to leverage their strengths and pool resources by forming alliances.
